Welcome to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134 Riders’ Club Website. The aim of this club is to promote brotherhood throughout the IBEW, and to extend a hand to those in need. This club is proof that you can attain these goals and have a great time doing it. 3rd Annual Midwest Run | July 26th-27th, 2024

Chicago would like to officially welcome all members to the 3rd Annual Midwest Run. It is an honor and a privilege to host all of you for what promises to be a memorable time. The last 2 runs gave us an opportunity to showcase parts of the Midwest that would otherwise not be experienced by some of our brothers and sisters. With the addition of Chicago to this annual rite, we hope to give all of you a chance to see what we are all about.

Sometimes mountains can be made of steel and concrete. Sometimes the view can be spectacular even if it is man-made. We plan on letting you experience a mix of nature’s splendor along with Chicago’s beauty.

The ride itself will take us to places not always available to the public. As we are still checking availability for some sites, we will post the actual route as we get closer to the run. Bring your cameras!

Anyone interested in making it a longer stay, we will have additional trips planned all week long guided by our own club members. Please let us know if there is something that you just can’t live without visiting, and we will make every effort to make that happen. Looking forward to seeing all of you in July!

Walking Distance from the Hall This hotel is walking distance from our Union Hall! It is also minutes from Downtown Chicago (for those that want to take in our local culture). Extra Days & Fun Things Anyone interested in arriving early can book any extra days. We will plan some fun things to do for the “early birds”. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

FAQ

What does the Registration Fee cover?
Friday and Saturday dinner. All remaining funds will go to the Honor Flight – Chicago.

Will there be other events going on that week?
Yes. We will be planning trips all week, as well as side trips on the weekend. We will post them before the run to let folks see what they may want to do.

What is the DONOR PAGE for?
